Chimei Museum

The museum was established in 1992 by Shi Wen-long.[4] He is known for his collection of antique violins — Stradivarius, Guarneri del Gesù and Nicolo Amati. Besides being an entrepreneur, Shi is also an amateur violinist who has performed in public many times. To improve the level of classical music in Taiwan, he founded the Chi Mei Cultural Foundation and also provided a scholarship for developing artists.

Anping Fort

The center of any visit to Anping is the old fort. Anping Fort is built on the foundations of the Dutch stronghold named Fort Zeelandia. That fort was the anchor point of early settlements in Tainan for both the Dutch and the Chinese, and much of the settlement’s history lies in Anping’s old streets surrounding the fort.

National Museum of Taiwan Literature

The National Museum of Taiwan Literature researches, catalogs, preserves, and exhibits local literary artifacts as part of its multilingual, multi-ethnic focus. The museum is housed in the former Tainan City Hall, constructed in 1916 and famous for its historical significance.

Ten Drum Culture Village

Located in the Rende District of Tainan, Taiwan, Ten Drum Rende Creative Park was once a busy sugar mill but had been left disused for years. After being taken over by the local drumming troupe Ten Drum Art Percussion Group as a rehearsal space, this mill continues to live its history and allows visitors to peek into the thriving sugar industry during the Japanese Colonial Era. The Drum Museum featured at the Ten Drum Culture Village and showcase different kinds of drums from East Asian countries.

Southbound: Exit from the Yongkang Interchange → Pass through the Zhongzheng North Road and the Zhongzheng South Road → Sec.4 Ximen Road → Go Straight approx. 4 Kilometers to Sec. 1 Ximen Road →San Juan Hotel is located in your left side.

Northbound: From Freeway 1 (Zhongshan Highway) to Provincial Highway 86 lead to Tainan → Exit from Wanli Interchange →Drive along Sec. 1 Yongcheng Road to Sec. 2 Yongcheng Road → Turn right when you arrive Zhonghua South Road →Turn left when you arrive Ximen Road → Go Straight approx. 2.5 Kilometers →San Juan Hotel is located in your right side.
